Background
Estevan Oriol began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1980's as a club bouncer at several of Los Angeles' most popular Hip Hop clubs and infamous Hollywood hangouts. It was at these clubs that Estevan first linked up with his Soul Assassin brothers, Cypress Hill. Estevan took a job as tour manager for the rap group House of Pain in 1992.
In 1992, Estevan first ventured into the clothing industry. He & Lucky partnered with Everlast of House of Pain, began Not Guilty Brand clothing.
In 1992 Estevan took up photography, cataloging the experiences he was having on tour. When off tour, he began to take pictures of his homies from the neighborhood. He soon discovered that he had a gift for capturing the raw essence of street life with his photography. Estevan took the opportunity seriously and with in a short time, he became one of the most sought out photographers of the Hip Hop community. His work has been featured in dozens of magazines world wide including The Source, Details, Vibe, The Fader, and Rolling Stone.
In addition to being CEO of Joker and his full time career as a photographer, Estevan still finds time to direct music videos for such groups as Cypress Hill, D12, Linkin Park, and Blink 182. He also has done several international videos for groups in Japan and through out Europe. Estevan currently working on producing and directing films. He just finished releasing two documentaries "LA Originals" on Netflix and "Cypress Hill: Insane In The Brain" on Showtime. He also Released and Published Five Books which all sold out are 1979, L.A. Woman , L.A. Portraits , This Is Los Angeles , And Bosozoku. Estevan has spent the last three years collecting footage relating to the expanding relationship between the tattoo art world and the Hip Hop community. His Photography showcases and features dozens of prominent artists including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Outkast, Blink 182, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Adrien Brody, Ryan Gosling, and Forrest Whitaker.
